Day 7: add it All up

Don't put off that budget any longer. It's Tuesday and you've procrastinated (well not all of you have!)
It costs money to live; but it costs more money to live beyond your means. Step one and this is the one that procrastinators will cringe from is to add up every single nickle spent. If it makes you feel better to round your numbers do this: Round your income down and your expenses up.
For example if you make $967 every two weeks, round it to a nice even number. Normally you round up from a 7 but since we're talking income, round down for the purpose of budgeting: Income = $960.

If your typical surrender at the gas pump is $82, round it up to a nice even $90. Sure it hurts but if you can make THAT budget balance, meaning that you have more income than outgo than you will find your savings slush fund adding up even faster than you hoped.
